Todd Scott is a Vice President in ACORE Capital’s Dallas office. As a member of the asset management team, Todd is responsible for actively managing a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate loans.
Todd has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining ACORE Capital, he owned and operated Provident Advisory Partners, a boutique commercial real estate consulting firm specializing in asset management, acquisition underwriting and property disposition.
Before establishing Provident Advisory Partners, Todd served in numerous roles during an 18-year tenure at GE Capital Real Estate. These roles included Senior Valuations Underwriter, where he valued debt, equity, and joint venture transactions comprised of multiple property types; Senior Asset Manager, where he managed a 54-property, $420 million portfolio of performing debt, troubled debt and REO assets across the United States; and Debt Originator, where he produced $425 million of fixed and floating rate debt volume over a two-year period.
Todd began his commercial real estate career in 1996 as a licensed real estate broker with United Commercial Realty, specializing in retail project leasing.
Todd was born and raised in Dallas and graduated from Baylor University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He and his wife, Rebecca, have four young children and live in Richardson, Texas.
