Position: Compliance Analyst

Summary
The Compliance Analyst is an integral part of the ACORE Compliance team. Primary responsibilities include assisting the Chief Compliance Officer with oversight and debt fund liquidity tracking, loan marketing efforts, and debt fund operations. The Compliance Analyst will interact with all levels of the organization and will have an opportunity to work on a broad variety of large, opportunistic, heavily structured, value-add, institutional real estate loans encompassing multiple property types across the U.S.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the development, administration, and monitoring of programs that ensure ACORE’s compliance with laws, regulations, and rules
• Assist with personal trading requests reviews and approvals.
• Collaborate on system maintenance and management for Compliance systems, including ComplySci, Venminder, ACA Aponix, and SixLambda.
• Assist with internal testing and regular audits as part of the Firm’s 206(4)-7 annual reviews, as well as regular surveillance and ad-hoc internal investigations
• Maintain and update the Firm’s Compliance Manual and monitor employee compliance with those policies and procedures.
• Organize and perform regular compliance training programs.
• Colaborate on Vendor Due diligence.
• Assist with regulatory exams and deliverables.
• Support with AML and KYC reviews, for new investors.
• Assist with the prepreation of minutes for relevant committees.
• Keep pace of demands of business by anticipating problems, working with the CCO to offer appropriate solutions and implement changes effectively.

Requirements
• Bachelors degree required, in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Possess a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion and judgment.
• Compliance and fiduciary related studies and certifications preferred, but not required.
• Extreme attention to detail with high quality output.
• Ability to successfully balance multiple projects and work priorities in a highly independent and self-directed environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop rapport and credibility with people at all organizational levels, and form strong relationships, internally with colleagues, and externally with stakeholders.
• Strong interest in Financial systems and regulations.
• Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written
