David Dancer is a Managing Director in ACORE Capital’s Dallas office. As a member of the Asset Management team, Mr. Dancer is responsible for actively managing a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate loans.

Mr. Dancer has over 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining ACORE, Mr. Dancer was a Vice President with Bank OZK’s (formerly Bank of the Ozarks) Real Estate Specialties Group. At OZK, David closed over 85 new construction loans totaling $2.1 Billion and was responsible for the ongoing asset management of a $750 MM portfolio of construction and value add loans throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Bank OZK, Mr. Dancer was a Client Services and Product Management Specialist at Invesco Real Estate. While at Invesco, Mr. Dancer coordinated all proposals, reporting, marketing material, and other various requests from clients, prospective clients and consultants for Invesco’s U.S. Direct $43.7B AUM real estate products and real estate debt products. Prior to this role, Mr. Dancer worked at Invesco as a valuations analyst for C.B. Richard Ellis, responsible for valuing over $2 Billion dollars of apartment, industrial, office and retail assets in markets throughout the United States.

Mr. Dancer holds a BBA degree in Economics from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. He and his wife, Brittany, reside in Dallas, Texas with their two boys Dirk and Dak.
