David Cordova is Chief Financial Officer of ACORE. He oversees the accounting and finance functions of ACORE.
Before joining ACORE, Mr. Cordova served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of New Mountain Finance Corporation (NYSE: NMFC), a Business Development Company focused on lending to U.S. middle market businesses, since 2013. Mr. Cordova joined NMFC as the BDC Finance Director in 2012. As a member of NMFC’s management team, he was responsible for finance and accounting and oversaw operations. Mr. Cordova was also directly involved in strategic initiatives, capital raising and investor relations.
Prior to NMFC, Mr. Cordova worked at Starwood Property Trust, Inc. (NYSE: STWD), a public mortgage REIT, as Manager of Financial Reporting from 2010 to 2012. He was responsible for SEC reporting and assisted with investor relations, earnings forecasting, portfolio investment modeling and equity offerings.
Prior to STWD, Mr. Cordova worked in Ernst & Young’s Audit and Assurance practice from 2005 to 2010.
Mr. Cordova received a B.B.A. in Accounting from James Madison University and a M.B.A. with concentrations in finance and economics from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
